I haven't touched a bike in 30 years. I had an accident (Pickup-vs-10-Speed) and sort of stayed away from all bikes.
I used to love my Honda-550. I was just wondering what is the current cost of one today?

If you can find a runner in decent shape you might pay $1500. That's about what they ran, new, as I recall.

oh it's a good bike.
My old friend bought 73 CB550 for something less than $500 few yrs ago, but needed a bit of work, nothing major I recall. If you are good at wrenching, then it would be a piece of cake since you can find NOS parts no problem from Honda or ebay for CB.

For most of those old bikes, clutch return springs are out, not the cable!
