No matter how talented the Chiefs might appear to be either offensively or defensively, they NEVER play the whole season!
There is probably no team (well, maybe the Vikings) with a worse record for choking and folding at some part of the season than the Chiefs. Call it the "Schottenhiemer Effect" as they are probably still suffering from years of his terrible coaching. Like the Chargers of today, the Chiefs will play just well enough to get themselves completely humiliated at some later point of the season.....

They have a pretty good defense so far this season, but the
season isn't over, and Larry Johnson is out for now. Michael
Bennett is injured, and Priest Holmes is an unknown. They
need to find someone to pick up the slack on the ground game.
Normally, those are three pretty decent tailbacks, but none of
them are available at the moment. I guess that leaves Derrick
Ross and Dee Brown to try fill the slack, but those are big
shoes to fill.

thats why the cardinals almost beat them last week, with a rookie qb? you're living in a world of fantasy. chiefs defense is as bad as ever, maybe worse. look on the bright side though, trent green comes back soon so your offense will be playing better

Chiefs will suck this year, Chiefs suck every year. How much longer do you think Gunther Cunningham is going to hang around after the owners sh*t on him by hiring Herm(loser) Edwards?

Perhaps, but their offensive line woes will keep them from making the playoffs, and you can forget Larry Johnson leading the league in rushing.
