I thought it was when I saw The Foo Fighters last december but then I went to their accoustic show at the Sydney Opera House last week & that was by far the best concert!! Hubby got to shake the lead singers hand & I just got to sit there in complete awe because I was sooooo close to my fav band & I was given the singers guitar pick!! The sound was amazing & I can tell you nothing will ever top that night! We have a few concerts coming up to a few other fav bands but its going to take something pretty darn special to top that concert!!!

2 of my favs were Tool in Christchurch, New Zealand and Portishead in Sydney, Australia.
The best concert though was the Violent Femmes in Christchurch around 14 years ago. They played for 3 half hours non stop, went off stage, came back for the encore and then asked for requests from the crowd!! The whole concert was over 4 hours long and the tickets were $16 ($8 US)

Chick Corea and Touchstone at Chico State, with an awesome flamenco dancer. Also Bela Fleck and the Flecktones at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival 2006.

Rock 93.5 Fall Out in Columbia, SC in 2001. The lineup started with Hoobastank and Default...before they made it big. Then Stroke 9, Puddle of Mudd, Seven Mary Three, and Incubus. Seven Mary Three had the show IMO. It was a 10 hour show.

For me it's a tie between three (all in South Africa)

Orbital and Leftfield at the Three Arts, Cape Town, 2000
Prodigy and Faithless, Bellville Velodrome, Cape Town, can't remember the year.
Cypress Hill, Cape Town, 2001

Anyways Noel comes out does this acoustic act for a good few hours. It was very deep and moving. All of a sudden the fire alarms came on and show was on pause right in the middile of his set. It was cool.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra has the superb mild instruct! each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days it gets extra helpful. Kiss has some staggering issues... band contributors flying around and guitars that get hit by utilising rockets up in the ceiling.
