And, not only do they ask questions, they are extremely rude and use offensive language and assume we are badly educated. Do they assume that we don't have feelings?

One thing I've noticed is that some people really care about other people, and how they feel, and what makes them feel good.

Then there are other people who could care less about how other people feel, it's all about them. Some of them like to come here trying to hurt other people's feelings, because they enjoy that. Usually people like that are just immature, although some of them manage to get older (not more mature) without getting killed.

Of course they feel rotten because they are rotten to others. If they'd quit, they'd start to feel better about themselves, and then they could have real friends (who care about them) too. But some of them will never figure that out. So they keep suffering.

Becaus they are sick people stuck in a belief system that teaches them that hatred can be justified. Just look at the Westboro Baptist Church, and why do you think that their venom is continually allowed to spew?
The problem here is that this is a public place and when they see GLBT their curiosity gets piqued. Their self-righteous hatred can't stand to allow us to be supportive to each other. They don't want to learn and think they have a thing or two to teach us.
Perhaps we should all go over to the Christian side and start provoking them.... Oh yeah.. I forgot.... unlike them, we still have threads of civility and compassion.

Well if you watch the time they are online you will see that obviously they don't have lives and this is about it. Ignore them. Its like a playground bully, if you don't give them attention, they will go somewhere else and bother someone else. Think about it, what kind of lack of character do you have to have where you find that sort of thing entertaining?

I simply look for questions that seem to be real that I can offer an answer. I don't bother with the others, why fill your head with that nonsense?

Just remember, even Hitler had a following. As deplorable as a person's actions are, it is even sadder when they act in stupidity. Like Olga, who clearly can't think for herself at all and depends on her "college educated boyfriend" to answer her questions. Though really, who goes around bragging they have a college educated boyfriend anyway??? I don't see a need to point out your partner is smarter than you are....

If you're referring to OLGA ------ I'd say she's discovered how extremely easy it is to wind -up so many people with so little effort --- every question she posts elicits a barrage of replies - many of which are possibly more offensive than her original question! Just an observation ------ I'm going now ---- BYE!

Might have something to do with them being monosyllabic fundamentalist rablerousers, who live in their parents basements, sad when they think of their own pathetic existence and their only joy comes from trying to bring down others. Too bad they are not even good at doing that.

Don't assume anything. Some of the brightest, most creative people I know are gay/lesbian etc. I pick my friends for their intelligence, warmth, and caring natures. Some of those happen to be gay and or lesbian. I think some people just haven't had enough social interaction with them to know what they're missing.

People act this way because they feel powerless and they feel that they have some power in this anonymous forum to attack. Also, I am sure that many of the negative responders have questions or feelings in regards to homosexuality that they are unable to resolve or to admit to themselves. Of course that's not true for all of them, but I'm sure it rings true for quite a few. It's easy for them to lash out in cyberspace, it's a "safe" environment for them to participate in their hate speech. It's just ignorance and they should just be ignored. If no one responds to them, then they have no audience and they remain powerless.

I think it is just a place they can express their homophobia that is strongly linked to the insecurity of ones own sexuality...
