If you do not have absolute faith in your doc, then get a second opinion. Tell your doc this is your intention, if he reacts with anger, get another doc.

I would get a second opinion.

You can develop elevated or high blood pressure during pregnancy. Your doctor has dealt with pregnant women before, and I am sure he just wants you to know what can possibly happen. Are you developing pre eclamspia? Usually that is what goes with high blood pressure. With any pregnancy there is always a chance of problems. Cut back on salt, if you are working, maybe it is time to take your maternity leave. Drink lots of water, avoid caffine and sugary drinks. Relax, Relax, Relax. STRESS will cause your blood pressure to go up.

Some women develope high blood pressure during pregnancy, but once the infant is born, their bloodpressure returns to normal.. Everything is always scary when you develope things during your pregnancy.. Just get regular check-ups with your doctor and monitor your diet/exercise

I think that you should continue with your pregnancy. Once it starts getting out of hand, the baby should be more develp. Science has grown so much, that maybe they can put it in a machine that will help. Ask your doctor for more info. I'm not sure, I think a child can survive once its five or more months old.

NO SALT. I can't say that enough and everything has salt or sodium in it..Colas, condiments, canned and frozen things. Avoid them..eat fresh fruit and vegetables and broiled meat..It is really hard but worth it in the end because you will have a healthy baby. 14 weeks and you can eat regular again.
