Pregnancy symptoms differ from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy; however, one of the most significant pregnancy symptoms is a delayed or missed menstrual cycle. Understanding pregnancy symptoms is important because each symptom may be related to something other than pregnancy. Some women experience pregnancy symptoms within a week of conception. For other women, symptoms may develop over a few weeks or may not be present at all. Below is a listing of some of the most common pregnancy symptoms.
Implantation Bleeding:
Implantation bleeding can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms. About 6-12 days after conception, the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will experience spotting as well as some cramping.
Other Explanations: Actual menstruation, altered menstruation, changes in birth control pill, infection, or abrasion from intercourse.
Delay/Difference in Menstruation:
A delayed or missed menstruation is the most common pregnancy symptom leading a woman to test for pregnancy. When you become pregnant, your next period should be missed. Many women can bleed while they are pregnant, but typically the bleeding will be shorter or lighter than a normal period. This symptom is commonly explained by other reasons. If you have been sexually active and have missed a period, it is recommended that you take a test:

women or girls... alot of girls panic because they think it'll be cute to have a baby or that they can *keep* the guy by having a baby. A month later, unprotected sex, the time for their period comes and they are late.... and perhaps they realize what they've possibly done and panic. women panic because it wasn't supposed to be late. it's instilled in us that if your period is late, your pregnant. simply not the case. I'm highly irregular, I never panic, my boyfriend, who understands nothing about my cycle, panics if I'm a day late (and yes, we use birth control) Perhaps the bottom line is that women who panic are just that unfamiliar with their body.

It could be fear of pregnancy or illness. When you get a regular period and it doesn't show up when it should women get nervous and scared. The female body is a complex physical device. A missed period could be a number of things depending on the woman medical history.

I do not know but I hate my period. I get excited when my period comes late--- I get hopes that it won't come at all. When I get under 108 lbs, I lose my period. Which is a good thing because that means I am getting underweight!!!

I am amazed at these so called modern women. Do they not know about condoms. Aids. if a kid can get through a condom so can h.i.v. sorry generation, no penatrive sex for you, unless you both get tested, and still use birth control, unless you want a kid. You should not panic, because you should not have put you, or whoever you f ed. at risk. Grow up. and think

Because they think they might be pregnant. I'd panic if I were a woman and late. However, it can also be because of stress, so it doesn't always mean that.
