THING IS THAT YOU MARRY SOMEONE WHO YOU THINK WILL RESPECT YOU AND YOUR VALUES AND THAT OF YOUR FAMILY AND LOVE YOU UNCONDITIONALLY...IT HARDLY MATTERS WHETHER YOUR WOULD BE IS EARNING HIS BREAD IN HIS HOME COUNTRY OR ELSE WHERE..AS IT IS TO MAKE A MARRIAGE WORK IS GETTING SO DIFFICULT THESE DAYS SPECIALLY IN THE FIRST 3..4 YEARS...IMAGINE SO MUCH OF CULTURE DIFFERENCE AND RADICALLY OPPOSITE POINT OF VIEWS...IT WILL BE ALL THE MORE AN UPHILL TASK FOR YOU TO ADJUST WITH A GUY WHO IS SETTLED ABROAD FOR A LONG TIME...IT IS BETTER YOU MARRY AN INDIAN RESIDENT AND IF ALL GOES WELL YOU NEVER KNOW YOU BOTH MIGHT GO ABROAD AT A LATER STAGE...ALL THE BEST

NRI and a foreign settled man would probably mean the same thing in your case. i.e., An Indian born settled abroad.
I have lived in the US and Canada for 12 years. So speaking from personal experiences, all I can say is that when you marry an NRI, there would be a lot of expectation from you from the NRI (exceptions: unless you are extremely beautiful, etc). And more likely, these high expectations turn out to be a dampner in the marriage relationship.
As for living abroad, it is fun only for a year or so. After that, you will long for your home and miss your family and friends dearly. And like me, you would also probably return back to settle down permanently in India.

my dear ritu...this not an indian astrology website . no one can predict this for you. Getting married to an N.R.I is not the only way to get out of India. You can get good education and a career from any where in the world.
Get married to the person u like. Shouldnt matter if he belongs to a different race. Good Luck

your question is based on your future, so be care full in taking decision like this. choosing a life partner is like planning a life.
so no matter that you are going to marry foriegner or nri. you can marry any one but the main thing is that the person give you the happyness and fullfillness in your life.so what ever decision that by your heart dont put on your mind. mind always confuse and heart shows the right way.
