Yes, she can still get pregnant. This is because semen can live inside a woman for a few days. If she were to ovalate sometime in those few days than yes she can easily get pregnant.

All of you saying "Not Likely" and "100% NO" are ignorant and should not be giving fertility advice.

Sperm can live in a woman's body for up to 7 days. It is possible for the egg to get fertilized while it is still in her uterus even though she has started her menstrual cycle. Also... many women, especial young ones and especially sexually active ones, have abnormal menstrual cycles that may not necessarily coordinate normal with ovulation.

Furthermore, there are documented cases of women who have their menstruation for several months AFTER they become pregnant.

Go spend a couple of bucks on a pregnancy test before you go taking the advice of random uneducated strangers on the Internet and, while you're there, pick up a box of condoms and through a couple in our purse in case you need one in the future. ;-)

thats highly unlikely, because the woman wouldnt be ovulating at that point in time. ovulation usually occurs 14-21 days after the start of the last period. so although sperm can live up to 5 days in the woman's body, its unlikely for someone to get impregnated, from getting ejaculated in right before their period. ive done it, never been pregnant

no, the fertile days are days 9 through 16 for most women, that is based on a 28 day cycle. Ovulation occurs on the 14th day for most women. Semen can live for upto 5 days.....

I would say no, as your period is the lining of your uterus shedding to form a nice clean and healthy layer for the next month to be ready if there is a fertilised egg ready to implant, that's why you normally miss your period once pregnant.

Not likely. On a 28 day cycle you are only fertile about 14 days before the first day of your period.

i'm not an expert but because the lining will be coming out I am sure that it will take everything with it. It's pretty 00000000.01% possible. Plus for the sperm to reach and egg and attatch the implant takes a few days. So it's safe but so are condoms.

She *can* be, but it is unlikely. If you are worried, go to a clinic and get the "morning after" pill. It works for up to 3 days after unprotected sex.

Now ... what were you/he thinking??? Babies are only ONE consequence of unprotected sex - BUT ONE THAT CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE! Take better care of yourself if you don't want to get pregnant - it's your responsibility too.

Absolutely!!! Remember the eggs are being released into the fallopian tubes and the sperm can live for a while. If one sperm meets up with one egg, tada---
