A computer is any computing equipment that can do logical calculations. This is the way it differs from a calculator. it can be a PC, a server, a mainframe etc.
But a PC is the usual desktop computer that we use for simple computing purposes, apart from Office suites, internet etc.
PC is a subset of the the large set COMPUTERS

A computer is something that is used for a variety of operations in any field where you require processing and recording of various DATA and variables. There is no constrain for its size and shape and can be used for any purpose.
A PC ( personal Computer) is computer for personal use at home or office etc and it is compact and fits on your table. It usage and capacity is very much limited.

computer = any machine that performs binary operations
Some video game systems, calculators and car parts are considered to be computers.
