Yes. I am uncertain as to whether you are asking "do you read answers made by other people to the same question you personally answer?" or if you are asking "Do you check out a person's profile and their answers to other people's questions?"

The answer is yes in both cases but more so in the former than in the latter.

When I answer a question, if I am not the first to answer the question, I review the answers already obtained. I may pass on answering a question if there is already a correct answer or one I agree with. If I have something to add to the answers already obtained or if I disagree or have a better answer (of course that's strictly my opinion) then I will go ahead and answer the question. Occasionally, if a question appeals to my sense of humor, I may answer a question just to be funny however I try and hold that to a minimum.

Since I answered my first question on Yahoo Answers, I have learned many lessons. I have learned that some people "pose" answers or statements as questions and don't care about any ones answer. I have learned that some people ask the same question more than once. Therefore I have also learned to look over a person's previous questions and their answers before answering one of their questions. This often tells you if they are legitimately asking a question or not and whether they even care if they get an answer. Both a person's questions and their answers tells a lot about the person.

I do not answer questions just to get two points.

Of course. How else would you be able to, somehow, have an idea of the kind of person you are dealing with. Sometimes it's a good indication of what occupies a person's mind. Some are only interested in religion, while others are mostly interested in making fools out of people or some can't seem to get past the pre-pubescent stage. Well, that's it for now.Cheers =)

Sometimes after submitting my own answers, I will check out the other answers. Some of them are really funny.

Yes I do, and I like to rate them....now, if I don't agree with an answer I don't email the answerer telling them why I didn't like her answer.....(happened to me...thought she was a losser though), anyway I know you didn't ask me that but just wanted to share, knowing everybody else will read it!!
