Well there can always be complications no matter how perfect and flawless things go all the way up to delivery.

My wife is a good example. She is a small woman and the baby had a hard time getting through her pelvic bone and went into distress. They had to stop labor. Once everything was settled it took 6 hours to get labor started again.

What kind of complications is your doctor concerned that you may face?
It seems that the doctor may not have given you a complete explanation and what to expect if the complication arises and he should have. You should talk to him and don't be afraid to ask questions about what is going on with your body, and if that doctor can't answer your questions get a second opinion.

I started bleeding when I was about 16 weeks and continued till I gave birth at 37 weeks. They said it could be from my placenta covering my cervix, which it wasn't. Then they said it could be from my placenta detaching, which it didn't. Try not to worry too much. Worry will make your condition worse. Relax, put your feet up and watch a good movie. I liked Rosemary's Baby when I was pregnant because even though I was on bed rest it made me feel better to know I wasn't giving birth to the son of satan.
