People earn money through working?

People earn money for several reasons including to prove their worth, to obtain material posessions, or to gain some kind of social standing in a market-world like ours.

Obtaining money to get by everyday life is under to obtain material posessions.

Usually they work, provide a service and get money in return to go purchase other things that they need. Othertimes they beg people for money.

If there is no money you have to trade physical goods and services for everything. I rather get money for my work and pay when I need goods and services from others.
