Every time I sign in to yahoo IM, it tells me that Yahoo messenger has performed an illegal operation and needs to shut down. When I hit details it says: YAHOOMESSENGER caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL... and a bunch of other gibberish. I have tried uninstalling it AND downloading a older version and still nothing. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

you do not need to reinstall windows what so ever
anyone that says you do dont know what there talking about they dont know anything about computers

hi its the new yahoo messenger that is the problem your better off with yahoo messenger 5.61254 version you can try this from this website and it has never had any problems at all

Don't waste your time trying to repair it.

Uninstall and reinstall it.

Some files of your messenger may have gone corrupt.

Just to ensure it's properly loaded, reboot after you've reinstalled.

I have the same problem everytime I logged in to Yahoo.
I'd tried to uninstall the whole program. Nothing.
I'd removed it from my pc and download it again.
still doesnt work.
I need help as well =)

get a new computer, upgrade to XP. Windows 98 isn't that great.

shut down ur computer and try again after a few minutes...then try logging in
