It's going to be called Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll. It's written and directed by Manson. Released sometime in 2007. So far, Lily Cole is the one playing Alice. Manson will be playing Lewis Carroll.

The only upcoming Alice-type movie that I know of is "Alice," which is supposed to be based on the PC game "American McGee's Alice." Sarah Michelle Gellar is supposed to be playing Alice (although personally, I would've preferred Christina Ricci in the role).

well I can say for sure that Alice in Wonderland was intended to be a child's story, at least superficially since Lewis Carroll wrote it for his 11 year old girlfriend.
