Will XL (Extra Load) tires makes a car have a rougher or stiffer ride?

probably won't notice any difference..My 4x4 specifies light truck tires (LT) but since i dont run around with 500-1000 pounds in the bed of my truck, I run P series street tires on it...they do not feel softer, even though they do not have the load capacity of the LT tire...just a lot cheaper in price...63.00 a tire vice 135.00 each

Yes it will there is less give in the side wall of an extra load tire,it won't handle as well iether.

both the rubber harder and less pliable.
