do you have fuel pressure at the injector rail ? or Has the safety switch been tripped? Make sure you have fuel and check for spark, then if you have compression and the right timing, it should start :)

It can be one of many things. It might be the Starter which will be hard to get out because its behind the fuel injection or it could be the alternator. The battery might also be bad. If you have any of these problems together thats even worse. If the alternator is bad, the car will try to run off the battery, but if the battery is almost done then it wont have any juice. Now if its the starter the car will not turn on because there isnt enough juice to get the starter started whic in turn doesnt turn on your car. Hope this helps. The starter might not be behind the FI. I worked on a 98 eclipse.

check the timing belt,If the timing belt broke, on your car it bent the valves check for blown fuses, check for spark and fuel first, then check the main relay. then pull down the pcm behind the dash attached to the A Pillar, open the case and look for burnt transistors. ( common failure )

When I had this problem with my eclipse it was a combination of a bad starter, which was pulling all of the juice from my battery. So I had a bad starter that killed my battery.
