If you start kissing a guy on the first date, it sends the signal that you want more.Don't do it unless you also want more.

I avoided it simply because it gets the physical ball rolling too soon. Kissing on the first date is definitely is not lady-like, but I certainly don't think it's even close to the slutty ballpark.
However, I kissed my yummy-lipped husband on our first date because it was going so well that I just HAD to kiss him and see if anything was "there." It's all in the kiss!

Depends on where you kiss and who is doing the kissing. lol If the guy starts the kiss, and she likes it, why not? As long as it isn't anywhere below the neck, he's fine. But, with a girl, ethics is more 'Peck on the cheek' on a first date. Yuppers. It's all about the guys first move. =P

I refuse to kiss on the first date. Sometimes men get the wrong impression of women when they are willing to kiss on the firs date, so I eir of the side of caution and refrane from that behavior.

Here's how I go about it...if the moment and everything has gone great throughout the nite, then sure if not...then no if you don't see yourself goin out w/ him again on a date, don't put thoughts in his head that you like him. . .and lead him on..cuz then he'll call you b/c u kissed him and want another date and expect more and more. . .get my drift. . .well Good Luck and great kisses to ya!

I don't think I would generically kiss on a first date. It would be circumstances. .....
Even then, I may wait til the second date. Kissing is really personal.

Kissing on the first date is a very intimate act. Are you talking abouta good night kiss? That could be respectable or are you talking about kissing????
