Yes I have told my friends I love them - even if I think they know it. My husband tells his close mates once in a blue moon. It is different for the guys - not such a natural thing. When they (the guys) do say it - it is a big deal. Pretty special really!
I think it is important to tell those close to you what they mean to you - you've just got to figure a way to go about it. Doesn't have to be lovey dovey. Just like "You mean the world to me mate!" or something to that effect.

Not sure if it's a "woman" thing... my wife doesn't tell her friends that she loves them. I've never said it to a friend, and if one were to say it to me... I'd be very uncomfortable and proabably rag them about it. Unless I'm on a sheep hearding trip, I say no need to say it out loud, just help me move when I buy my house... nothing says "I love you" like a buddy carrying your 50 inch tv down 2 flights of stairs and not dropping it.

Yes! My friends, my family, and loved one are the most important thing in my life. I think it is a good thing to let people know how you feel. Life only lasts so long.

Men are definitely different than women...I'm female and always tell my friends and family i love them...you never know when you will see them again..to be kind of morbid, you may never see them again. Treat people you love like you love them. right? Guys can do it too, but they usually only do when they're drunk

no.. if u never tell someone, they will never know. u don't expect them to know automatically that u love them. eventually, u will find yourself regreting it when that person is gone. its like talking on the phone. if u never tell the other party who u are, how can u expect them to guess??

haha! yup, pretty much every lady I know does this. We realize the people that we value in our lives, we know why they are special to us, we see their wonderful qualities, and we just let each other know how we feel...and it's not weird! I don't really envy guys for not feeling that kind of freedom to mention stuff like that.

I have told some of them, but not all of them. It is easier to say to the ones that won't think that you are weird. It is especially easier to say it to my guy friends.

it's not a problemwhen your drunk! j/k i've told friends that and it's just expressing your feelings. life is short and it's not a bad thing to express your feelings specially if your very close to your friends.
