as if she takes advantage of my free time and "uses" me to stay with her 5month old. We are great friends but how do you tell someone they are taking advantage of the friendship.

WOW that is a hard one.......just tell her.........if she is a real friend she will understand......if not and she does get mad you just need to tell yourself that maybe that is a sign, there are better things to do,more people to meet, that would be hard for me because all of my friends are really close......i wish you the best of luck

you need to sit down and just talk to her. let her know how you feel but do it in a calm fashion don't blow it out of wack. just let her know that you would be glad to help with her child but there are moments that you need for yourself. she should understand if she is as good of friend as you say she is. hope that helps. good luck

You have to discuss it with her. Tell her how you feel and I'm sure things will work out just fine.

is there anything you would like for her to do for you? if so, the next time she wants you to watch her child, say "I will watch your child if you_____ for me", that way it will even it out and no one is taking advantage of anyone.

ask her why she always make you take care of her baby. if shes there with the baby then its different, you have to stay with babies, you can't just leave them home alone.
