Does anyone (besides me) think that it's really sad that great movies, like "The Road to Bali", by all the classic actors from the 50's and 60's are found on the two for $5 table at WalMart?

Movies aren't priced by how GOOD they are but rather according to the contracts and royalties associated with them. With the old movies there aren't many "connections" left to people or organizations that have a claim on "big money" from them. Sad, and that's the way it is, but it doesn't take away from how good they are!

Good question. What's sad is that those actors won't be getting any royalties (don't know if there are any exceptions). What's sad is they don't make movies like that anymore. What's good is that people can afford to buy them and ENJOY ENJOY!!!

People are not into classics anymore. They are more interested where Jessica Simpson will appear next. It is sad. No one knows how to value classics anymore.

No. Because if they were expensive and beyond the reach of the common man, even the few that get picked and viewed by the "GenX" would remain in the back burner.

Movies are normally meant to watch once. Nothing is sad as all good things come and go.
