Female and yes the mood has a lot ot do with this......so,etimes i crave just pure sex.......then again I want the emotional connection i get from making love.......................

I am a female! I love being in love and making love with a man rather than just having sex. Being in love and making love is so much more special to me than just plain old sex. I need to feel that the love is really there or I'm turned off.

I'm male, and I've done both. There is a difference, but much of today's society has allowed the lines of demarcation to blur.
Having sex ( and that is an incorrect phrase, anyway- sex means "gender", implies a casual or non-committed act of sexual intercourse. It could be between people who have nerver laid eyes on each other before, to people who have been shacking up for years, but have little or no emotional feelings for each other.
Making Love, on the other and, while involving the physical act of coitus, implies a deeper emotional bond, between the two players.
Now here's the catcher. It can be both! The emotional girl who IS deeply in love with "her" guy, and engages in intercourse with him. She is "making love". he on the other hand is not in love with her, but takes advantage of what is offered. He is having sex.
While I use the term, I do not like it; I prefer to use the term sexual intercourse, because it is truer to the meaning of the act.

The way I thin of it is like this....If you are married, engaged, or even in a long term relationship, and you love eachother it doesn't matter how hard you get it, how rough you want it, how nasty it gets it's still making LOVE because it's somthing between two people who love eachother. SEX: However is somthing that you do after you go dancing and you've had to much to drink, or you give a cute guy at the bar cause he has a nice ***. SEX is just that ..SEX...it's nothing intimate between two lovers.! (hope that was a good answer)..

Making love is something emotional and heartfelt, a bonding, caring action.
Having sex could be with the pool boy or someone in Vegas, or raw like a booty call, but not loving just sex...female

I'm female and overall, I would pick making love, although sometimes I just want to have sex...lol. I've been a good girl and I don't have casual sex, but I think that causes psychological problems lol.
