1. They're more open about it here. 2. There are gay people all over, some are just more openly gay because gays are slowly becoming more accpeted here in America. 3. Nobody plays cricket here. I'm not entirely sure what it is myself to be honest with you. Is it the sport with the mallets and rings? If so then no wonder. It sounds boring. 4. They aren't "tomboys" they're just butch lesbians. I'm a tomboy of sorts and I wear bras and will not leave the house without one. Tomboys just like more guy thing than girl things. 5. Some people are just more sexually open. Nothing wrong with experimenting.

Other way around.

Baseball was an americanized version of Cricket.
Football was an americanized version of Rugby.
Soccer is of course Futbol.
The only truly original American sport or game is Basketball.

baseball frm cricket....

trust americans to do the opposite of the 'colonials' british... roads, sports, cars, etc.

baseball was recorded first in early 17th century.... much later than our cricket... (13th century).... obviously, it wld hav been a case of british takin the cricket to yanks, and they found it borin & modified it.... and presto... baseball.... :)
