If you used a system recovery disk, which reformats your hard drive, you might be out of luck. There is a possibility of using a tool, such as Norton Utilities, with which you can explore the files on a reformatted disk, but that's alot of work and may not yield results.

Good luck,

You can use Norton System Works or Norton's Utilities they both are equipped with Norton's UnErase which can recover files from the recycle bin. But I must tell you there is a certain duration of time and then it becomes harder and harder to do so. You can borrow Norton System Works and see if you can run it from your CD drive if not u will have to install the program through custom installation! Oh by the way if you have not formatted your hard drive given the fact that your files will not be there in this case!

Even if you've reformatted your hard drive you can get to your photos again. Check out Digital Picture Recovery program at http://www.winutils.net. Works GREAT!
