it's real easy go to the Bank of your choice and tell them you want to open an account and then you sit down and fill out the paper work and then you have a account of your own

If you are talking about opening an Account in India, almost all bank's need a refferal, where an existing account holder needs to reffer you to the bank and you would require documents like age proof, passport size photographs & address proof

.yes , you just need 2 types of I.Maybe your social security # not sure and if you are working you can sign up for direct deposit which should be free .sometimes when opening an account you might have to deposit some money in your account first with direct deposit you dint have to call around and find out , i feel it's much more convenient

Take 2 form's of ID to any Bank--Or some kind of picture ID- Or Birthcertificate

cant see a problem here, just walk in and ask around, sign when u agree with their plan, ask around for good bank plan

remember the ppl there want to make money, so they will be more then willing to help
