actually no. your anwser is wrong this is how u get your anwser:

-(7-4x)=9

becomes: -7-4x=9

then: -7-4x= -11x

then: 9 into -11 how many times?

ur anwser: -1 2/9

x= nagative 1 and 2 /9ths

cause when you get to: -11x divided by 9 thts an improper frction. So you reduce to: -1 and 2/9

How U got U'R anwser:

okay...this is how u got your anwser:

-(7-4x)=9 then you thought a negative and a negative=a +. thts true but not in this problem.

your anwser would be right if the problem looked like this:

-7(-4x)=9

Your whole problem would have been RIGHT, but it isn't!
Cause it was negative seven- 4x= -11x

My problem is right!! please choose mine!!!

x= -1 and 2/9
