Is being gay genetic, or is it environmental or learned? What do you think?

Personally, I feel as being gay is a learned behavior. I think that something in one's life causes them to be attracted to the same same sex. I don't think that it is genetically linked because there is no scientific proof. In addition to this fact, if God is against the homosexual lifestyle, why would he create people who are gay?

Not sure if it is genetic, but I believe that it is a birth defect. I could be genetic or the result of a hormone imbalance in the mother during gestation.

Think about it.
Iff you were told through movies, advertisments, music, art etc to look fancy men from a young age, then you'd quite likely fancy men.. If not, then in theory you'd be gay.
Love, although a mental emotion, is still a social construct.

I am convinced you are born with that. It is not a matter of choice, I do believe there is more promiscuity in the gay world. I believe that is a matter of exposure and choice.

it's not genetic buddy. no one is like born and *poof* they're gay. it's learned. if you are born in a place where everyone is gay and grow up there, chances are.... you're going to be gay. so ya it's not genetic buddy....

i think you are born with it, i do not think it is learned. sexual feelings and harmones are naturally within us not surgically placed or made up in the brain. but this debate will never be resolved so that's just my two cents :).
