My opinion only but that was a terrible question. When do we start teaching our kids who to hate??? That makes no sense. Teaching your child to hate something..only for them to find out what you told them to hate is something they might actually like when they are old enough to form their own opinions is setting yourself up for some total lack of respect from you grown children. Laying a good foundation for your kids to grow on...thats smart...letting them form their own opinions lets them know your respect them and their thougths or beliefs. Pushing your preferences on them is not. Once again my opinion only. I have 3 kids and i like to think they are being given their freedom of speech and religion not only by their country but also by their parents.

Hate seems to be the mother's milk of both parties these days.
Depressing, that's what it is. And that you can JOKE about it is even more depressing.
I fear for America, when I see what our politics have become. Crass, loud, hate-fueled, holier-than-thou, my way or the highway, with us or against us, insults and lies.
If we cannot be civil, if we cannot acknowledge that someone else might have a good idea, if we cannot give credit for the good things our opponents have done, then we are on the highway to political extinction.
Laugh, all you left-wing and right-wing bastions of insanity. When the end comes, when the economy crashes under the weight of its own debt, when the environment changes, when the oil runs out, you'll be just as desperate, poor, and hungry as your current political opponents. And still, all you'll be able to do is try to blame the nation's destruction on the other guy.
Grow up. Get a brain. Think! Put more time into looking for solutions than you do into looking for scandals. The middle ground is out there, but you would rather we all drown than to share that ground with the other side.
Jefferson weeps. Franklin shakes his head in sadness. Washington is appalled that he spent the lives of thousands of colonists on THIS. Lincoln watches the blood of hundreds of thousands soak into the swamp of our political quagmire and wonders if it was worth the heavy price they paid.
Is THIS what the promise of America has come to?

I pity your kids if you actually believe parents intentionally teach hate to their family.
By implication you imply that you as a Democrat have a preset age when you teach your children how to hate. And I doubt it stops at teaching them to hate only Republicans....
Hate seems to be the religion of the left and you must be the new Grand Dragon.

start even before they can speak to ensure they get brainwashed because a slow 4 year old can see through the BS. To ensure their hatred when ever you discipline or as republicans do beat their kids dress up as a foreigner like they did to dogs in the wild west to make them hate Indians

Christains aren't supposed to Hate. This is a sad world. And God loves all his children, people sure don't read the bible anymore. FYI God doesn't look at who is Dem or Rep. he looks at how you have lived your life, so think of that when you teach your child hate.

Lame.
If Americans hate Arabs, I think they have enough good reasons to do so.
Example one:
"Death to America"
Example two
September 11th
Example three
Barbaric videotaped executions of innocent journalists
Example 4
Using Children as human shields
Example 5
Killing their own people, simply because their religion is a different sect of islam
Need I continue?

Never. You can explain your views, but it is idiocy of the worst sort to attempt to mold your children's political views. To quote an apt saying, it is like trying to teach a pig to whistle -- you won't succeed, and you will annoy the hell out of the pig.

You got it wrong as a Republican you most likely believe in GOD. Therefore you are supposed to love the sinner and hate the sin.

LOL -Well having viewed a video clip of "Jesus Camp" (shows kids worshiping a cardboard Bush image at some religious fanatics outing) I would say just after they give the "seig heil" salute.
