You're a horrible parent! I would hate to have you as a parent, I had a friend who had a stepmom like that and he learned to hate her more than anything in the world. Trust issues with your children much? But to look up past conversations is impossible by most means, it's only possible to look up what has been saved or something you've done after you installed your crazy scheme. But most teenagers save important conversations, just look around all the folders. But honestly, I'd hate to have you as a parent is my 100 percent honest advice.

Not a good idea to snoop; It breaks whatever trust there is.
You can go to Internet Options, click content tab, and set the ratings to whatever setting you are OK with them seeing. Set a password only you know to keep them out of the settings.
All that said, you cannot control what they see away from home. tTme for that good, honest 2 way conversation to protect them the best you can.
Good luck to you. I once had teenagers, and OH, What fun to keep track of them.Glad we didn't have computers them. But I am sure they found other ways to watch what they wanted.

get hold of a keylogging software - search for it on google to download, or buy one. It records all the keystrokes on the computer. Once your child is through with using the computer, you can open the log and see all that he / she has typed. This would give you a fair idea of his / her activities.

Its good that you watch what your teen does and sort of bad at the same time. One good reason is that if they are seeing/watching content that is not suitable for them. a bad reason is that the teen needs privacy and stuff.
