No, It is not hard to learn at all. It is an RPG game which you get to control your players. The games is simple it tells you your objectives and you do it by moving your player it just as like you are god.

Its fun and simple. If you are going to play it, I suggest you also look into World of Warcraft, much more interactive and more fun in its own way.
