the resorts are very nice but not the beach[ no beach at sunway ], most if not all the beaches[ only much better in term of infrastructure n modern facilities ] in west coast of Malaysia are far inferior than those at the east !
i have traveled almost the entire of Peninsular Malaysia included many of the beaches n islands, if i would to rate them from 1[worst] to 10[best], Port Dickson can't even secure a single point ! Langkawi[2] slightly better so as Pangkor[3] ! but until you visit Redang[8.5], Perhentian[8], Tioman[8], Sibu[7], Lang Tengah[8], Kapas[7], Rawa[8], Permanggil[8] etc etc, you would not want to return to PD any more ! my friend told me that those at Sabah[ Islands of Sipadan, Mabul, Layang-layang just to name a few ] n Sarawak are much more better n stunningly beautiful, unfortunately i have yet to step foot on !

but you may be a little too late by now to visit say Redang, Tioman n co because the year end monsoon is coming, next year March onward should be OK ! anyway if you have the times, try PD/Langkawi/Pangkor[ now ok to visit ] then Redang/Tioman/Perhentian[ next year, March ] n let me know whether i am telling the truth ! i heard Tiara is a nice place so is Sunway...kids will love it.
