There are is some great underwear from Jockey and also Maidenform that are really comfortable and don't show through jeans and even most tight pants/skirts. I've been wearing them for a long time and they are great.

Either a thong or commando -nothing at all. Or if you want to wear underwear and hate thongs, Victoria's Secret has their line of VS Cotton Panties (not the Pink line -because some of them do show panty lines). The cotton line which you can get online.www.victoriassecret.com has bikini, low rise bikini, thongs, briefs, boy shorts etc that won't show through. That's what I wear with even the tightest of jeans and you can't tell. Favorite are the low rise bikini.

Seam less panties or try lace trimmed ones Victoria's Secret pink line has some cute ones those work for me like the lace hipsters or the No-Show Panties. Good Luck!

I observed some from BarelyThere call "Jeanouis" that certain no panty traces under denims. They weren't thongs, yet kind of a low shrink shaped element. different than that, thong may be ultimate.

Either wear a thong or looser jeans. Thong's the safest bet.

wear a thong or nothing at all...usually if you can see your panties through jeans...then they are too tight...so wear looser jeans or use the thong or nothing at all method!!!
