I can't imagine they would put in a competing park that close to Disney World. You don't have far to go to Orlando.

Disney has been rumored over the years to be buying large tracts of land in virtually every state in the country. With the success of Disneyland's 50th and the sad state of attendance at Disney World, there is no way Disney will ever build another theme park in the US. It would draw people away from going to either Anaheim or Orlando.

there is nothing announced yet for another US theme park. Already, they have two parks in Asia, one in Europe and two in the US. There would be a much bigger market in Australia than in SC, so I can't really see them pouring money into a place where they own a site as big as a city close by (Disney world is the same size as San Francisco).

that wouldn't make sense a disney park is so close but i would say that a hard rock amusement park is possible and i hope you get one!
