There were suicides last time in 2004. Remember the lib in New York who killed himself?
NEW YORK - A 25-year-old man from Georgia who was apparently distraught over President Bush's re-election shot and killed himself at ground zero. Andrew Veal's body was found Saturday morning inside the off-limits site, said Steve Coleman, a spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. A shotgun was found nearby, but no suicide note was found, Coleman said.

Firstly, that doesn't sound so much as a question as a statement to me. What exactly you're saying I'm not sure, but the first point which has to be made is that the last two elections, particularly the 2000 'victory' of Bush, was not democratic at all and us 'crackpot conspiracy theorists' who complain about the illegitimacy (which is subconsequently censored in America, as you'd expect from corporate owned media) will not leave a country because we 'lose', all though some do like Greg Palast, who wrote 'The Best Democracy Money Can Buy,' which shows with unscrutable, objective evidence that the 2000 election was illegitimate, I suggest you read it.. if you are capable of reading it without your head exploding in disbelief/righteous fury
The only thing which I'm not sure about is whether you (who posed the question) are working for the government/corporate propoganda system, or a product of it. Either way step back and take a good hard look at yourself, your society and your ignorance.

One can only hope. Since this President has been in the deficit has dropped by almost half. Do we hear that from the liberal news media and dems? Of course not, the message is one of hate and giving away America to the fanatical islamic terrorists. I think there will be peace and quiet but I also think you will begin to get the truth. Fox News has come out on top - and they report the truth not distorted lies. When we retain a Republican Congress I believe they will start to work at revising the tax code, slim down government - ie. getting the feds out of state and local politics - and returning more money to state and local governments. They will help strengthen the military and win the war in Iraq. They will do what is right for America - not what is right for the millionaire democrats who want power and control over us.

Well if it isn't the new face of the RePUBICan (thats right l left out the L on pupose). They have never done anything for anyone in America except BIG business. It is crazy how some people are willing to go down with a sinking ship even when their is a perfectly good lifeboat. Especially when the boat is a crooked embarrassment. See you at the polls and l hope after the elections you will be willing to come back and whine for us.

Are you kidding me?
Republicans historically are advocates of war. It is the republicans who got us into the war with Iraq and caused so many deaths. War equals deaths, peace does not.
You do not fight for peace, you hypocratical jerk!!!
And secondly, as a democrat, if republicans still hold the majority the next presidential election I won't kill myself I'll just move to Canada, that is a lot less violent.

Well, Saint, you proceed from a false assumption. I don't know if the Democrats will have a majority in both houses, but they'll probably have at least one and come close in the other. In the 90s, we complained about gridlock with a GOP house and a split senate and a Dem president. I'd much rather have gridlock than have one party running roughshod over the Constitution and shoving whatever they feel like down all our throats while wondering why there's no spirit of bipartisanship left in D.C.

No. It won't happen. If they were ever to "leave in droves" it would have been in 2001. I heard (not surprisingly) that Canada had more inquiries from Americans about Canadian citizenship in early 2001 than they had ever had previously. I am very liberal, and I certainly will not leave. Heck, this is the very worst that could happen (even far worse than I expected), and in '09 there will definitely be a new president. That is reason to rejoice. Not leave.

No they will cry and say that the polls are rigged and electronic voting was manipulated bla bla bla. Honestly I think they would riot. They have no one to blame but themselves. However I am not looking forward to voting for Mccain either and probably would vote libertarian if it wasnt for the fact that hillary the beast must be stopped.

I think that the democrats can always come back and start winning outright IF they ever can give us something to vote FOR.
So far, they are using trickery and tactics only losers use to win seats....
They have NOTHING to vote for, they only tell us who to vote against...
