As far as I know all the phones on Amazon are Pay As You Go and so there is no contract to worry about - you buy a phone from them in the same way as you would buy a book

Just put the phone you select in your cart. Buy with credit card that you set up with your Amazon account. If you mean a specific phone, their search will let you drill down to the features that you need. I went to 1) cordless 2) 5.8mhz 3) w/answering machine and sorted by user ratings. Found a great AT&T 5840 for around $50! Good luck, hope that helps.

Oh, sorry, I bought a land line, didn't think that you might be looking for a cell.

Go to EZFreeCellular.com and get a FREE cell phone. You choose the phone (like the Razr I'm looking at in 4 colors), and the carrier. Some phones will give you a rebate. Yep: Free NEW Cell Phone and cash mailed to you from the company.

You can get free unlimited VoIP calling at WWW-O-WWW.com.

Check it out. If you like it tell others.
