3x - 2y > 6

First subtract 3x from both sides
3x-3x - 2y > -3x + 6
then you get

-2y > -3x + 6

Now divide -2 on both sides
(Don't forget to change the signs)
-2y/-2 < -3x/-2 + 6/-2

it becomes
y < 3/2(x) - 3

This is in the Y=mx + b format.
