You have to play to improve your game. Even though you are not that good in the field, that is what practice is for. The more you practice, the better you get. Don't waste your life thinking "I wish I had done that"!!

Take the first step . . . that's the best way to find out how you will fair in the tryout. Then you'll know how far you need to go to improve your catching and throwing. Who knows how good you can hit the ball? Good luck!

go for it!!! you have one skill already before you start. the rest can be learned as you go through training and playing the game. I played softball when i was in high school and it was a lot of fun. it is also cool to be part of a team.

if you don't tryout you will regret it! if you do tryout and not make it then at least you tried. you can always find out what you really need to work on to tryout again next year. and if you tryout and make it then wonderful!! have fun
you can always learn something if you make it or not! but if you don't try.... you will never know.

Yes, the whole point is to just have fun and think of all the people you meet. Its not like your going to go pro, don't worry about how good you are.

If you want to play there is no harm in trying out. Just practice, if you put in hard work you will be just fine.
