My God, I can understand sticking up for your point of view (both sides-i'm rep), but i think it ceases to serve a purpose when such vile attacks towards each other become common practice in every aspect of everyday life among people who otherwise are all mature intelligent people. It's beginning to get sickening. I have friends with opposite political views but we don't hate each other to the extend of personal insults such as 'retard' among others. We can maintain civility and still disagree. Mature thoughts welcome.

I gotta say, so far all but one of the questions have been well thought out even though they're not of my view. Thanks for being adults. See, we can disagree and be civil

The Clintons came to town in 1992, and their "take no prisoners, destroy all enemies" tactics poisoned the water. Remember what they did to Billy Dale in the White House travel office, accusing him of embezzlement to get him outta there and get their own liars in.

The country is more divided than it ever has been and it's sad. it seems to be some sort of political agenda - an us or them mentality. It seems that the people who scream the loudest are the most uninformed of the bunch. Because they always think that their side does no wrong and the other side is the devil in the flesh. But nothing works that way...BOTH sides always have some right and some wrong. No one is 100% right all the time. And in additon to the hatred, there is no accountability...everyone has a scapegoat (point proven above). Makes an independant average voter very disenchanted with the government . I think that's why so many people don't get out and vote - that and the fact that you never really know where anyone stands because you never hear anything from them that is actually honestly ABOUT them - it's always negative about their opponant - all the character bashing. (and then the loudest among them complain the most)

Yes, you are right. We all need to realize we are on the same side. Look at all the political ads now. All they do is bash one another in hopes of stealing votes. They show no respect to their opponent, the voters, or the country with their insolence and it needs to stop. These people are buying their way into office without using their brains. We need to start checking the track records of these people from all parties and once they are voted in, if they change their views, we need to call them on it. Your views may be in line with the Republicans, but be careful who you vote for because neither side is doing a good job representing the voters. Yeah they can defend their platforms but I want to see some action. Some bills, sessions, general concern for the country, SOMETHING!!! All we get now is bickering and fighting and it is not moving our country foreword.

Very Simple:

People are hateful and politics is like a polarized football game. People sit around watching the TV, hopign their side wins. As they do good or bad they compliment or get insulted. Now just imagine that people are so into their game that they believe the other side will destroy the world. You now have 2 party politics.

Because if you are not on the "correct" side no one will care want you think or how their actions affect you. But If you want to make things more civil in this country we must get rid of the Carl Rove mentality, it is pure poison.

Stupid People (Democrats) get frustrated with smart people (Republicans) which causes the stupid people (Democrats) to stomp, yell, insult, and throw temper tantrums when confronted with responsible, logical, and required solutions to real problems.

Maybe Conservative Christians believe that the purpose of their lives is a test of their character and their loyalty to a good one in heaven who is at war with an evil one cast down to and ruling over Earth. Maybe members run a race towards Armageddon because members expect that Armageddon will precipitate the return of their savior. I believe the purpose of my life is enjoyment of entertainment derived from acting in the drama of life and death, playing in the game of survival and sacrifice, taking the test of success and failure and fighting in the primal conflict between predator and prey as a life form in a body consuming biosphere on a crusted magma global with a sun and moon reproducible in a galaxy of stars, in a universe of galaxies and in an infinite body of universes that is the infinite body of an infinity divinity eternally one. All souls are free in the infinite abundance of love and divine freedom of the spirit to enjoy this entertainment eternally as one.

I believe it is possible to make a more equitable distribution of wealth of the global culture and at the same time preserve the environment in good health far into the future if the many will abandon these conservative ideological traditions that motivate them to run a race towards Armageddon and embrace liberal ideological traditions such as my own that lead the many to have the highest esteem of self and world; to believe that all souls are, have always been and always will be free in the infinite love, divine grace and eternal unity of the spirit; and in peace provide education that makes sex for occupational, recreational, and homosexual purposes as well as sex for heterosexual and procreative purposes honorable, acceptable, and safer.

While conservatives undoubtedly will continue to motivate communities of faithful believers to out work, out fight and out number competition by spreading the fear of self and hatred of others that follows from heterofascist, atheistic, perfectionistic, nationalistic negativism, I believe there will also always be those such as myself who negate their negativism and arrive at an inspired celebration of the liberal love of self and others that follows from homotolerant, agnostic, positivistic, nationalistic spiritization of self and world taken to it's logical extreme. Infinity Divinity Eternally One Love Our Gods Your Way. My name is Kevin Michael McDaniel. I am the High Ideologue of the House of Ideology.

I believe a 'war on terror' can not be won by spreading terror in war. Spreading terror in war is a way to lose a war on terror. I expect that we lose a war on terror by spreading terror in war because we lose peoples, destroy properties, dissipate energies and desolate our environments.

I believe a 'war on terror' can be won by spreading humor in peace. Spreading humor in peace is a way to win a war on terror. We win a war on terror by spreading humor in peace because we gain new friends, create properties, recuperate energies and restore our environments.
