No, After 9/11 he has brought his strife on himself. Pres. Lincoln entered Washington under threat of assassination, was hated and despised by his cabinet. Shortly after becoming president the bloodiest war in your history began which he personally was blamed for by many. His generals were failures and incompetent for the most part. Hell, the general that the Us Army Commander Winfred Scott recommended to replace himself was Robert E Lee who joined the other side. During the war men died almost within sight of Capital Hill. Walk from the Washington Monument to Arlington Cemetery. The battles occurred on USA soil.
Truman woke up one morning president. He was the most uninformed man in Washington. He literally had to hit the ground running and pick up all the data that he wasn't given like actual casualty figures, true military capabilities of both allies and enemies. He was stepping into the shoes of a man who had become The President for many around the world. He had to assert his authority to command over a very diverse group of politicians and army officers, many of them non American. Believe me an officer who does not know how to avoid obeying a order just got his rank. Then he had to decide on whether or not to drop the bomb.
The shrub had a simple job, he blew it. His job is only made tough by the truly stupid decisions he makes and the horrendous mishandling of the military might he has at his command.

Bush had some of the difficult times as President because 9/11 occurred during his term when in fact it was planned way back from previous administration starting with Clinton and backwards.

All he has to do is look at himself in the mirror. He brought most of his problems on himself. That is Bush and company. I don't see how any of them can sleep at night. Looking at himself, must be the toughest job of all to do.

Well, it's tougher now that he's made so many mistakes. This isn't a liberal perspective, he's just incompetent. He's not even a good republican.
