The Democrats argue that the war in Iraq has increase terrorism. But I ask, since in mid 90's when has terrorism decreased? When has it ever decreased? When a country has been attacked, since the beginning of time, when has opposition of that attack decreased?

We did nothing to Iran in 1979 and that's when "Death To America" was then inscribed on all public buildings and the ayatollah coined the phrase "America cannot do a damned thing."

We pulled out of Beirut after 241 of our Marines were killed in 1983. Democrats led by Tip O'Neill insisted we withdraw. Ronald Reagan said, "We can withdraw, but we're only delaying the day of reckoning."

Kind of seems like Ronnie was pretty right on about that, almost 20 years ahead of time. Doesn't it?

Your mixing up the two wars.

Most people support the war on terror, it's too bad we didn't have enough troops in Afganistan to get Al Queda before they escaped. Noecons were too busy planning Iraq, than to get the people that attacked us.

The War in Iraq is an entirely other war. And it is a total mess.

Everytime I hear the notion that terrorism has increased because we - FINALLY - stood up to these dirt bags, all I can say is.....duh?
