jell-o...

who the hell can't make freakin' jello? i don't mean those cute little cups, they're convenient and all. i mean the big ol' tubs of it. it's jell-o fer chrissakes, not baked alaska!

Ha, i tried to make rice crispy treats and i made a rice crispy slab i could set my house on. So i'll buy those from now on. but i would have to say frozen pizza. I love the heck out of them, but they're so expensive now I might as well just get the real deal for a few bucks more

Yes! Happened to me the other day. I was going to make scallops wrapped in bacon for an appetizer for a family party. I went to the store, grabbed the bacon, and went to the seafood department. My boyfriend shows me frozen scallops wrapped in bacon premade, but they looked nasty. I can't stand taking shortcuts like that. They come out much better when they are made from scratch. Other things I don't like premade: Lasanga, Mac & Cheese (the frozen kind), and any kind of frozen chicken meals (like lean cuisine), and the frozen garlic bread. Much better when they are made at home from scratch.
