In Canada you have two options. Join a political party and run within the party in a riding delegation. As in party members in the riding associationchoose the candidate they believe would win the riding unless over ruled by the party leader. You have to kiss a lot of butt, a do your fair share within the party. For local politics well in Toronto all you have to do is go to city hall and pay a filing fee (closed now no more aloud for election in june) If all that doesn't suit you , you can start your own political party.

You can do things like the UKYP (UK Youth Parliament) which I think you're eligible for when you're 17? And I think you can do any A Levels you want and any university degree, although i intend on doing arts based subjects and English at Uni. But I think you can do what you're good at and still get into politics. Join your local labour/conservative/lib dem party once you turn 18 and try and get as involved as possible.

learn to lie. Smile alot. Lie some more. Admit nothing. Answer questions with more questions. Lie some more. Dig up some trash on your opponent (or make something up). Spend tons and tons of money and run for election... congratulations, you are in politics.

Come out of closet, and do what Mark Foley the gay congressman did, and you are on your way for a nice career in the dirty-sex politics.

Stick with the News and don't stay to any particular channel so you don't recieve biased views. Look at all the questions/answers until you decide with what you agree with and what you are against. The other stuff is just common sense.
