My family use to make teddy bears and wooden toys
Do people still want the older style toys
because all the toys today seem to be plastic and need battries

Oh for sure!! watch in the local paper for craft fairs etc. i make things out of wood myself so this is what i do to make extra money. alot of times you can talk to the people in charge let them know you will pay them on the day of the fair. everyone loves things that are homemade. you will be surprised. goood luck.

Weeeeell, some toddlers still like stuffed animals and the such. While older kids prefer trading cards, action figures, or interactive toys like the PS3 and PSP.
