well u got so many different kind of formula. u gotta check if ur baby got any allergies.... for example....the milk based formulas are not good for some babies if they get breakouts or they wont have good bowl movements...and so they get the soy based one. to me.... i tryed the milk based one......and then when u try one out...u gotta try it out for about at least 1month cuz if u keep on changing its formula it will have trouble with its belly too.....sooo...... i started with a cheap one from walmart....the parents choice....and that was pretty good.

u cant make formula urself.... would be really cheap if possible but since its not u gotta pay lots of money for it.

u have it in powder.....how to mix it is always written on the back of the box....
also there is liquid ones...u just gotta add it to water as far as i remember....1\2water 1\2 formula...but also those things are on the cans....

i found the liquid ones to be the easiest cuz when i mix it they wont foam up when i shake it. but thats just me.
when u go to wic....they gonna tell u about that stuff too.

aww your so sweet. no you do not make formula you can buy this at a super market or the wics can give you those coupons.the good formula is the similac theon with the bear in the front.umm well i think the mother milk is way way healthy then the formula .the formula is very easy to make .well first it depends how many ounces your baby is going to drink if you make two ounces you will need 1 cup of the formula well the only way to mesure the formula is with this little cup that comes with inside the formula container.

You can buy baby formula at any grocery store. It is different than milk. It has all the vitamins that a growing baby needs for the 1st year!!! It comes in several different forms. Powder where you mix with water, concentrate, and ready to feed. Talk to your doc about which is best for your child!!! Good luck!!

um formula has more nutrients then regular milk and it's easier for a baby to digest. They should probably be on it until there about a year old. You buy it and then you measure it out into a bottle add water and then either put it in the microwave or a crock pot depending on what you think will be better (and the bottle) It usually will have direction on the container too!

Formula can be purchased in powder or liquid concentrate. The powder is mixed with water, and the liquid concentrate is also mixed with water, but less of it than with the powder. It is available in most grocery stores, online or at WIC (Women, Infants and Children) offices.

Infant Formula is a breast milk substitute. It is used for feeding babies from newborn to one year of age. The reason for using Infant formula can vary from medical reason to the mother being absent or uncomfortable feeding the baby breast milk.

All Infant Formula companys say themselves that it is in most babies best interest when medically and physically possible to recieve breast milk from their mother from the time of birth to the age of one year. Infant formula is created to best meet the childs needs and as closly resemebles breast milk as possible, but does not replace it completely.

Healthy breast milk is always recomended as a first choice and option for all babies.

Forumla is given to babies instead of breastmilk - either by choice of the parent/doctor. It's something that you buy in any store and is very very expensive and that is a highly regulated industry so I wouldn't attempt to make it.

Cow's milk or any type of milk besides formula or breastmilk is not good for babies' digestive sustems til they are at least a year old. Techincally no child needs cow's milk as it is intended for calves not humans - but if you use it - don't do it before a year.

All infant formulas have to meet certain FDA standards, so they're all pretty much the same unless your baby has special needs...my son drinks the grocery store brand and he's as healthy as can be. Good luck!

Breastmilk is much healthier.
DO NOT use homemade formulas. They don't have everything baby needs to grow.
If you choose not to breastfeed, you'll need to buy formula in the baby aisle of the grocery store.

formula is bought and will have mixing direction on the container, it also contains vitamins, minerals that milk does not as for which one to give your baby depends on their tollerance of some of the ingredients check with your doctor, and formula is only for babies up to 1 year

As far as I am concerned, unless you cannot breastfeed for medical reasons and it's either that or your baby starves, there is no reason in the world to feed formula to your baby.
Breast is best, and I dont care what the compagnies say, it will NEVER be equivalent to breastmilk. They will lie to get your money.
