Yes,
If an emergency happens or if your high school building collapses you need phones to call for help. In my school we can bring phones but we have to keep it in silent mode.

possession of a cellphone should be allowed--it is the use of them during class that should not be allowed.They should be kept in a locker and not in a pocket except for during lunch period.

They should be turned off during the class or at least on silent and should be allowed to be carried by student to reduce theft from lockers, cars or bags.

yeah...they are at my school. But we have to make sure they are turned off and out of site. But as soon as the last bell rings, we can take 'em out. Lots of ppl just go to the bathroom and use their phone during the day/morning lol

No need to have them in school. If they're driving, keep them in their cars. Just not in the school and definitely not in the classroom.

They need to be shut off during school hours, then you'll have it after school is out in case you need it.

yes. you can't stop it, if you put up cell disrupters they will just bring in walky-talkies or new portable internet devices that run on the WiFi that runs though the school.

it shouldnt be allowed...it causes disturbance and doesnt let u and people around u to concentrate
