my period is not due till next week a sometimes get my period early because i have low iron count but a noticed when i went to the toilet that i just had a spot of blood and then it stopped is that normal? av had my periods for about 6yrs and thats never happened

Spotting before your period is normal. My wife hardly ever had a period that she didn't have spotting for a day or two before. It's just the level of progesterone in your body slowly coming down and the uterus begins shedding, some comes out a little earlier than the rest. I'm almost positive it's ok. Are you sure it's not from your rear, sometimes she get hemerroids she bleed a little red blood.

Don't want to worry you, but wait until your period would normally start, and if it doesn't take a pregnancy test. Sometimes there is just a spot of blood after implantation has occurred.

periods are different for everyone but I would talk to your doctor about this she may have a better answer than anyone here could give you

this phenomenon is called spotting and it should be normal... or it's not something unusual that happens. but if you have questions maybe you should consult a physician....have you noticed any strange discharge?
