If you were head over heels in love with your husband you wouldn't even be thinking of this other guy. You need to use this as a way to rekindle your romance in your marriage. If the marriage is really on the rocks then I would suggest counseling.
Start simple though. When's the last time you went on a date, just sat together alone and just kissed, or had such wild passionate sex that you did not want for any other? If you haven't experienced any of these things lately it's probably why you are thinking of another man.
If you really want to leave your husband then don't cheat on him. Tell him you want a divorce and then go chase someone else, but don't cheat, it will cause so much pain in the hearts of your children and you will loose their respect, no matter how old they are.
If you want to stay work on making it better so you won't want for another. Perhaps look into a lovers retreat to get things going again with the hubby.
Type in couples resorts or bed and breakfasts into www.google.com and you will get plenty of ideas.

Please stop. You're pursuing this without thinking of consequences or reality here. Yes, you could potentially run off and marry this man and live happily ever after - BUT not likely. Second marriages have less than a 20% chance of not ending in divorce. Try looking at what your lacking in your marriage currently, because you aren't giving it 100% if you're emotionally attaching yourself to someone else, and that's not fair to your marriage or your kids. Just remember, the past is the past for a reason and try to get a grip on what you already have - Not the fantasy you're painting 500 miles away.

how can you be in love with someone you haven't seen in almost 20 years. Do you think that giving up your husband is worth this guy that dumped you and married someone else and now that he is divorces is coming back to you.

leave it alone unless you're ready to divorce your husband and deal with splitting up your household. I read recently that this can be one of the most powerful compulsions you can have. Be careful and be sure that's what you really want.
