Just say, "I can't believe I was right!" It will really make them curious then.

There is nothing you can do or say short of "Its not that big of a deal..." I know your exact position, and yeah, people will make stupid remarks but it only last for an hour or so, depending on where you work of course. If you ignore 99% of them, then everyone will back off thinking they might have offended you, OR you can say the reason why you never wear skirts if for that exact reason...cat calls or people talking about you. They will get the picture. Hope that helps!

I ususally show up to work wearing crazy black "corporate goth" clothing, but then the company started seriously enforcing our "business attire" dress code. Being the smartass I am, I showed up the next day in a pink shirt with cutesy little white slacks for the shock value. Anytime someone commented about my outfit I said, "Don't get used to it cuz it only happens Monday though Thursday!"

well for one, skirts are nice and im pretty sure you'll be fine, if they should make a big deal out of it, simply say "well if you have something better for me to wear that will satisfy you, i will be happy to wear it, but i actually feel fine thanks! Please NEVER allow other people to dictate your life, wear what you want.

Just say, "I felt like a change", if someone expresses surprise that you wore a skirt. And smile.
If they compliment you, then accpet graciously with a sweet, "Thank you" and a smile.
The smile will keep them wondering.

The best thing to do is not try to argue what they say. Go along with everything they say. Ya they may say 'hey sexy' and 'looking good' and make all these wooohooo noises. Take it as a flattery thing. Smile blush say thank you or I know.

Say, "Thanks!"
Or say, "What, you've never seen a guy in a skirt?" (just kidding)
Or say..."I have an interview at lunch!"
Or say..."I know it's hard, but, really...stop it! It's just a skirt!"
Or say..."This old thing? I just pulled it out of my closet because I had nothing else to wear!"

Just walk in very confidently, and most importantly, nonchalant. If they make a big deal out of it, shrug it off like it's no big deal!
Good luck....let us know how you make out.

Just say that it shouldn't be a big deal and to just drop it.(but in a way that won't hurt their feelings)
