He is bored with talking with you. Get over it.

I don't know, I had a situation kind of like that with a kid I used to know in person this summer. We were talking for like hours a day and I offended him or something one day and then he just never logged on to AIM again. Who knows... Anyways, that's what makes the internet both good or bad, you can just start randomly im people and start and stop quite easily. It's not like running into people, because it's quite easy to ignore a person online. Anyways, my advice is: he's a jerk or at least a bit full of himself. What else can I say? Nothing you can do.

if i understand what you're saying right, then i disagree with the general trend of answers. i think it's nothing to do with the internet 'cos it happens in real life as well. some people just don't have the discipline or interest to invest in friendship, i think if there's nothing fundamentally wrong with it (like you meet a nazi & he's tring 2 recruit you) then you shouldn't burn your bridges when it comes 2 having m8s.

it's a policy that's worked well 4 me because i know that even if i don't see someone for years & just send the occasional email or txt when we meet again, we can just pick up where we left off

it sounds as if he is confused. He may not know what he wants. You may have to let him go and see what happens.
