I've read all of the vampire chronicles, and my favorites are Pandora, and Blood & Gold - Marius' story. I loved reading her interpretation of Ancient Roman vampires.

I have read all of the Vampire Chronicles including the really sucky ones in the middle. The first four and last two are the best. She really brought the series to a fantastic conclusion. Tarquinn Blackwood Mona Mayfair are some of my favorite characters ever. I highly recommend the Mayfair Witches books as well.

Yes, I read both of them, but my favorite is The Vampire Lestat. I love seeing things from the vampire's point of view. Pretty unique.

At one time I had the complete set but like a big dummy I loaned them to a friend and never got them back. I'd have to say my favorite was the first book. I don't know why but I've always been fascinated with vampires. And Anne Rice just really makes you feel like you KNOW them.

aha! I've seen the musical Lestat at Broadway last summer break. I thought it had no plot, but it was pretty well acted out. I had no idea it was a book before we saw it.

I did enjoy the first three or four but they do get progressively worse, and I actually returned The Vampire Armand because it was simpyl unreadable trash.
