Bring in animals. Puppies, cats, rabbits. It has been shown to work wonders with ailing people of all ages.

You can try to start a new program if you want (and that would be great) but there are already at least two fantastic programs out there that could always use more help:

1. Starbright World - is a website based organization that allows critically ill kids to interact with each other.

2. Make A Wish - which grants wishes to critically ill children.

I have first hand (through my daughter) experience with both these organizations and they are incredible!!!

introduce them to art activities or most anything to inspire creativity
